As a licensed Health & Safety Executive asbestos contractor there are a wide range of asbestos available from Safeline Environmental. Read this page for a quick overview of our services with a link to each of them.
Asbestos services for everyone
Safeline Environmental’s are available to all. We are passionate about the identification, removal, and safe disposal of asbestos wherever it is.
So, whether you are a one-off residential job, a small business, a large company, a building firm, a local authority, or a government agency with repeat work it doesn’t matter – we are happy to work with everybody.
Asbestos surveys
As per the requirement of the HSE’s HSG264, Safeline Environmental completes two main types of asbestos surveys:
1) Asbestos management survey
Also called a “standard” survey, this is a routine survey for a building in normal everyday use. The objective of this survey is to investigate and survey ACMs (asbestos-contaminated materials) within the building.
2) Refurbishment and demolition surveys
Specialist surveys are required for buildings that are being upgraded, refurbished, or demolished. This applies whether it is for an entire building (or only a part of it, e.g., the paint shop, etc)

Asbestos awareness training
Regulation 10 (Information, instruction, and training) of Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 requires employers to ensure their employees are made aware of the dangers of asbestos.
Another of our services is the provision of an asbestos awareness training course to train employers and employees in all areas of required asbestos awareness.

Asbestos encapsulation and removal
Asbestos removal
Trust Safeline Environmental to safely remove all hazardous ACMs from your building, which will be left asbestos-free (from the surveyed areas). All removal work is completed to HSE regulations and as per our asbestos licensed contractor agreement. Relax as our qualified professional asbestos engineers complete the delicate task of removing asbestos.
Asbestos encapsulation
Although, it is highly desirable to dispose of asbestos sometimes encapsulation is a less costly, less hazardous, and less disruptive solution. Encapsulation is an approach to coating the ACMs to prevent fibres from escaping into the air. In some circumstances, we may recommend this approach rather than removal – ultimately it boils down to what is overall the safest approach.

Asbestos disposal
Work with Safeline Environmental and not only will we remove ACMs from within your building, but we will also safely dispose of it offsite too in full compliance with the Control of Asbestos at Regulations 2012 (CAR).
We securely contain all asbestos waste before transporting it to an Environmental Agency approved waste disposal site. This will be located as close as possible to the location of the asbestos waste. To learn more about our asbestos collection and disposal service, click this link.
